Bought this new JBL 6W46 2 or 3 months ago and cannot find anyone who sells the spare shaft size it requires, 751SA according to your specs. I understand this is a new model and most scuba shops I've talked to haven't even seen the gun. The shop I bought it from is useless, they insist on using the part number for the old magnum ( 748SA ) which is to short, all other shops search and tell me how this isn't usually a problem with AB Biller or Hornet guns, which is also useless info. since I don't own one. I know its one of your goals to make your products and all of its accessories easily accessible for your customers and it should concern you that no one has this part and can't tell me how to get it, only that they can order an old part number, especially on the roll out of a new and improved product.
Anyway, I think this is a attractive gun that has a clean, smooth shot and would like to continue killing fish with it. If this shaft bends, I'm dead in the water and will then be frustrated enough to buy a gun that has readily available shafts and accessories.
The shaft part#751-SA. You are right it is a longer shaft than the old wood guns. It is now a 51″ shaft. Where do you live and I can point you in the right direction for the shaft or we can have that shop order you some. I am glad you like your new gun and rest assured if you need shafts we will get them to you. Send us your picture with you fish and the Woody and we will put them on the site.
