Hi,

I'm looking for a good starting gun for colder water.  I do most my diving now in Washington and Northern California.  I've really olny used polespears.  I would like to get into spearing bigger fish and diving in deeper water.   I know of the Northwest Special, but I don't know if that is a good gun for what I have in mind.
