I was wondering if it was possible to buy the foremost section of the the 2D72 shaft separately as a replacement part. Since it is the tapered part of the spear, it can't be replaced by buying the extension part. The whole story behind this is:

While surfing in Mexico, I borrowed a pole spear from my uncle. After spearing several grouper, I was fishing near a steep drop off, where I was thrown by a wave into the rocks and bent the foremost section of the shaft while trying to avoid being thrown into some urchins. I feel bad about damaging the spear, and want to fix the damage, but seeing that actual shaft is bent, it can't be fixed. Now I don't want to have to buy another whole spear for $100+, and was interested if you sold replacement parts since the rest of the pole spear is perfectly fine.

Cameron,

Yes the part #D6234 is the 24" tapered tube for 2d72. It retails for about $30.00 or so. Have your local shop order it for you.

Hope this helps.
