The speargun design that started it all, the JBL Magnum series of guns is probably responsible for more speared fish than all other spearguns combined. It’s no wonder, as this durable and accurate workhorse features a 1 1/4” drawn alloy barrel, hardened stainless trigger, shaft and point. Handles are constructed of two-piece cast aluminum providing strength and ease of maintenance. The Magnum series features two or three 9/16” Hi-Mod bands with stainless wire wishbones. Tried and trusted, this is one hunting buddy you’ll be glad to share a secret spot with.

    Ryan,
Sorry for the late responce. The gun only from butt to muzzel is 47″. You can take off the butt extention which will decrease size to 41″. Hope this helps.

Also what is the thread size of the spear on the sawed off magnum…I purchased it about 6 years ago. It looks like it is a 6mm but I have one of the original VOIT magnums and it uses a different thread…would this be the 7mm. I ask because these guns are in Panama and I am in the USA

    roefamilyband,
The Magnum Series barrels are 1 1/4″ thick in diameter.
6mm in that standard size for JBL Guns except for the “elite” series which is 5/16mm.

    Roefamilyband,
The sawed off magnum comes stock wit the 9/16″ bands. The “elite” series comes with the 5/8″ bands.

Where can these new Magnum series spearguns be purchased? All of the online and store retailers sites I have visited only have the older Magnum series available? Thanks
