52 – MEDIUM 5′7″ – 5′10″ 150-170
54 – M-LARGE 5′10″ – 6′0″ 170-190
Either one should work fine for him.
I suggest going to a Authorized Dealer and having him try one on.

I will start by saying bashing the company on the forums will get you absolutly no where man! Now that being said, you own one of the best suits on the market, read the forums you posted on. The clips are a warranty issue and I can have some sent to Sharon’s shop. They are very easy to replace.

A great suit at an amazing price. Incredibly warm and I can dive for 2 plus hours in 58 degree water and never get cold. Love the knife pocket, a feature found on more expensive suits. Nice kelp patter. Killed two seabass and I’d like to think that they never saw me coming out of the kelp before they died!

No to 7mm (too hot).
None of the suits at this time come with knee pads.
