Constructed of corrosion resistant 17-4 (spring) stainless each shaft is hand-tuned for alignment then heat- treated for maximum hardness to reduce flex and provide optimum energy transfer. OEM shafts for JBL, A.B. Biller , Riffe and Alexander mechanisms are milled to spec for a perfect fit and function. Adapt-A-Shafts are threaded on both ends and accept 303 stainless adapters allowing you to customize length for just about any speargun mechanism available.

I like the look of the new website… but you took away the product description page(s) for the individual items (such as the spearguns). The new design has *less* functionality and information than before. Not good! I needed the help of your site before I bought my new Explorer 20. I have a Sawed Off Magnum XHD, and I love it! Is there a skinnier shaft that will fit my gun? Will any 5/16 shaft work? Are you going to offer a tahitian flopper style shaft for your guns?

Yes all of the shafts back ends that goes into the trigger housing are the same size. the most popular 5/16″ is 36″ to 40″ in length. You can also get 9/32″. Our Tahitian style is in 9/32″ that comes with point and wing.

You have a option to get a 56″x5/16″ shaft instead of the 3/8″. The part number for that shaft is #756-SA.

You can use the same shaft as the reg Exploror 22 which is part #734-SA. That is a 34″x5/16″ with a 6mm threaded tip. You can put whatever tip you want on it.
